On January 18, 2007, SKC successfully developed a commercial version of indium tin oxide film, which is a key component used to operate LCD touch panels. After holding a ceremony to celebrate the delivery of its first indium tin oxide film product to a customer, SKC began increasing production of the film.
In the process of achieving mass production of ITO film, SKC Display division also developed the key sputtering coating technology that is necessary to manufacture electronic components. This technology can be applied in other research projects on new materials and will lead to more innovation.
