CEO Park Jang Suk welcomes Atlanta Mayor

SKC will work together with the city of Atlanta to boost investment in SKC’s Georgia plant

SKC CEO Park Jang Suk welcomed Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin who paid a visit to SKC’s headquarter on April 27, 2007. Their discussions mainly centered around SKC’s investments in the U.S. Mayor Shirley Franklin was touring South Korea and Japan to inspect the business climate in both countries and her main ive was to attract more investments to Atlanta. Since SKC operates a polyester film plant near Atlanta, the mayor came to show her appreciation for SKC’s investment. She also urged SKC to increase its investments in Atlanta in the coming years.
CEO Park Jang Suk gave a brief overview of SK Group to the mayor’s delegation and stated his strong interest in the business opportunities presented in Georgia. The meeting concluded with assurances that SKC would consider an expansion plan for its Georgia plant.
