SKC Discloses New Vision ‘Global Specialty Marketer’ Calligraphy Accelerates Efforts for Global Specialty Marketer in Beginning Year

SKC disclosed its new vision of calligraphic handwriting by the famous calligrapher Gang Byeong-in on the 14th. Gang represented SKC’s new vision of a ‘Global Specialty Marketer that creatively combines market insight and technology’ in his unique lively handwriting. The artist produced calligraphic s for ‘Chamiseul Fresh Soju’, ‘Sworn Brothers’ (film), ‘Jeong Do-jeon’ and ‘Misaeng’ dramas.






SKC declared its new vision at its 40th anniversary event held in October of last year. The vision represents the company’s determination to grow into a global business by concentrating its resources on the development of specialty products _ base_d on the Marketer mindset in all its business lines. Artist Gang strived to include that idea in his calligraphy, emphasizing ‘Marketer’ as the core element of the new vision slogan.



The ‘Marketer’ concept combines market/customer insights with technological solutions. It is difficult to read the customer’s mind with technology only. However, we cannot respond to issues properly if we neglect technology and only pay attention to our customers. SKC aims to implant marketing DNA in its entire organization, which is why the Marketer is fully capitalized.



SKC plans to jump into the global business by developing specialty products from a Marketer’s perspective. Specialty products will enable sustainable long-term growth while generating high profitability _ base_d on differentiated technologies.



Main specialty products SKC film line concentrates resources this year include 1) a transparent flexible PI film that can replace the glass of foldable smart phones; 2) a PVB film for preventing car window panes from being shattered; and 3) a substitute film’ that will replace the TAC material used in display back light units.
