SKC and SK Telesys conducted a volunteer campaign en d “SKC-SK Telesys Briquettes Delivery for Happiness Sharing” jointly with the Community Chest of Korea’s Gyeonggi branch on December 22.



More than 70 executives and staff members, including SKC Chairman Chey Shin-won and SK Telesys President Lee Jong-sung, took part in the campaign and delivered 40,000 briquettes, blankets and rice to over 100 households of low income families and elderly shut-ins. Notably, staff members at CCK’s Gyeonggi branch, for which Chairman Chey was appointed as Chairman in August, also participated in the event, adding to the meaning of the joint campaign.



Chairman Chey said, “I wish that briquettes and living necessities, which executives and staff members delivered in person, will help enable our neighbors to spend the winter in warmth,” adding, “In the future, we will continue to step up efforts to provide help to needy people by staging volunteer activities.”



“Briquettes Delivery for Happiness Sharing” was conducted for the first time this year as corporate social responsibility activities to provide briquettes and living necessities to people in need jointly by executives and staff members from SKC and SK Telesys.
